  • Saturday 26 May, Art and Music On the Farm - 10 AM to 4 PM at the Barrier Islands Center. This family event showcases a high quality art show featuring local artists selling their wares and musicians from around the state playing traditional roots music. Over 40 artisans will have their art for sale, as well as 5 bands ranging from mountain stringband, chantey singers, Latino music and bluegrass. Be treated to interpretations of the music styles by music historian Gregg Kimball, as well as break-out workshops with the musicians. Come and enjoy a day of song and strumming all surrounded by flowers, plants, local wine and great food and friends. Cost: $10 adults and children free!
